My name is Tom Mercebach, and I live in Denmark with my wife and our five dogs. I have been involved in agility since 1992, competing with dogs of various sizes and breeds, including Mudis and Border Collies.
In addition to my role within the Danish National Team leadership group, I have been judging agility competitions internationally since 2021. During this time, I have had the pleasure of judging events across Europe, the United States, and other parts of the world.
As a judge, I enjoy designing fluent and fast courses that test both the handler’s skills and the dog’s ability to perform accurately at speed. Being selected as a judge for EO 2027 is a tremendous honor and the realization of one of my biggest goals and dreams. Not only is judging the European Open itself a privilege, but the journey to get there has been equally rewarding. Having the opportunity to judge numerous team selections and qualification events, and to watch so many talented dogs and handlers navigate my courses, is something I truly value.
My hope is that competitors will enjoy running my courses and that I will have the pleasure of witnessing many outstanding performances throughout the event.
